[Machine] He used to pour water over his eyes when he performed a ritual wash from major impurity. Malik said: "There is no specific action required for this." Al-Shafi'i said: "There is no need to pour water over the eyes because they are not distinct parts of the body." The teacher said: "It has been narrated as a statement of the Prophet, but its chain of narration is not authentic."  

البيهقي:٨٣٨وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا الشَّافِعِيُّ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ نَضَحَ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ الْمَاءَ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ الْعَمَلُ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَنْضَحَ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ لِأَنَّهُمَا لَيْسَتَا ظَاهِرَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَدَنِهِ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَا يَصِحُّ سَنَدُهُ
