bayhaqi:8364 – Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf al-Aṣbahānī Imlāʾ > Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Qaṭṭān > ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan al-Hilālī > ʿUbaydullāh b. Mūsá > Jaʿfar b. Burqān > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] Hafsah and I were fasting when food was presented to us, and we desired it so we ate it. Then the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , came to us and Hafsah quickly covered me, as she was her father's daughter. She narrated the incident to him, and the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Make up for this day by fasting another day."  

البيهقي:٨٣٦٤ – وَقَدْ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَعَرَضَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ فَاشْتَهَيْنَاهُ فَأَكَلْنَاهُ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَدَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ وَكَانَتِ ابْنَةَ أَبِيهَا فَقَصَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْقِصَّةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اقْضِيَا يَوْمًا آخَرَ هَكَذَا  

رَوَاهُ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ وَصَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَقَدْ وَهِمُوا فِيهِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ

"Hafsah and I were both fasting when we were presented some food that we really wanted, so we ate from it. The Messenger of Allah came, and Hafsah beat me to him - she was the daughter of her father - and she said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We were both fasting when we were presented with some food that we wanted, so we ate from it.' He said: 'Make up another day in its place.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 735)

كُنْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَعَرَضَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ فَاشْتَهَيْنَاهُ فَأَفْطَرْنَا فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَبَادَرَتْ إِلَيْهِ حَفْصَةُ وَكَانَتْ ابْنَةَ أَبِيهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا أَصْبَحْنَا الْيَوْمَ صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَعَرَضَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ فَاشْتَهَيْنَاهُ فَقَالَ «اقْضِيَا يَوْمًا آخَرَ»
