[Machine] We prepared for him loaves of bread and meat, so we fed him the exact amount or even more, meaning thirty men per day.  

البيهقي:٨٣٢١ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ عَبْدُوسُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ قَالَ لَمْ يُطِقْ أَنَسٌ صَوْمَ رَمَضَانَ عَامَ تُوُفِّيَ وَعَرَفَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ فَسَأَلْتُ ابْنَهُ عُمَرَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ مَا فَعَلَ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ؟ فَقَالَ

جَفَنَّا لَهُ جِفَانًا مِنْ خُبْزٍ وَلَحْمٍ فَأَطْعَمْنَا الْعِدَّةَ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ يَعْنِي مِنْ ثَلَاثِينَ رَجُلًا لِكُلِّ يَوْمٍ رَجُلًا
