[Machine] He said: "If a man acquires wealth that has not yet reached the minimum threshold for zakat, he cannot give zakat until a year has passed since acquiring that wealth."

البيهقي:٧٣٢١ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنَ حَمَّادٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثنا مُعْتَمِرٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا اسْتَفَادَ الرَّجُلُ مَالًا لَمْ تَحِلَّ فِيهِ الزَّكَاةُ حَتَّى يَحُولَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no obligation of Zakat upon someone until a year has passed on their wealth."
