[Machine] He washed his wife when she died, and it was narrated to us about washing the husband's wife from Halqamah, Jabir ibn Zayd, Abi Qilabah, and others from the companions. It is also narrated from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud that he washed his wife when she died with a weak chain of narration. It is also narrated from Al-Hajjaj ibn Arta'ah from Dawud ibn Husein from Ikrimah from Ibn Abbas that he said, "The man has more right to wash his wife."  

البيهقي:٦٦٦٢أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْحَذَّاءُ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْبَجَلِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ غَسَّلَ امْرَأَتَهُ حِينَ مَاتَتْ 6662 وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ

أَنَّهُ غَسَّلَ امْرَأَتَهُ حِينَ مَاتَتْ وَرُوِّينَا فِي غُسْلِ الزَّوْجِ امْرَأَتَهُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ وَجَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَأَبِي قِلَابَةَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ وَرُوِي عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ غَسَّلَ امْرَأَتَهُ حِينَ مَاتَتْ بِإِسْنَادٍ ضَعِيفٍ 6662 وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَحَقُّ بِغُسْلِ امْرَأَتِهِ
