[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ prayed the holiday prayer with them, then he delivered a sermon and said: "Whoever wishes to stay should stay, and whoever wishes to leave should leave." This is the wording of the hadith of Sa'dawaih.

البيهقي:٦٢٢٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ أَخُو نُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّينَانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ سَعْدَوَيْهِ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّينَانِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى بِهِمُ الْعِيدَ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُقِيمَ فَلْيُقِمْ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَمْضِيَ فَلْيَمْضِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ سَعْدَوَيْهِ
