[Machine] I heard Anas say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not leave on the day of Eid al-Fitr until he had eaten three, five, seven, or fewer dates, and he would eat them in odd numbers.
سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ مَا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ تَمَرَاتٍ ثَلَاثًا أَوْ خَمْسًا أَوْ سَبْعًا أَوْ أَقَلَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وِتْرًا
[Machine] I heard Anas saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never left on the day of Eid al-Fitr until he had eaten an odd number of dates, either three, five, seven, or less than that, or more than that in odd numbers." Adh-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the summary.
