bayhaqi:6090 – Abū Zakariyyā b. Abū Isḥāq And ʾAbū Bakr b. al-Ḥasan al-Qāḍī > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Baḥr b. Naṣr > Ibn Wahb > Yūnus b. Yazīd > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar > Abīh ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb

[Machine] And that the attire that was woven for the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was worth one thousand dirhams or more. The Sheikh said that the attire they wore was two pieces, an Izar and a Ridah, except that it was made of Qazz (a type of fabric).

البيهقي:٦٠٩٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَنْهَى أَنْ يُصْبَغَ الْعَصْبُ بِالْبَوْلِ

وَأَنَّهُ كَانَتِ الْحُلَّةُ تُنْسَجُ لِأَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تَبْلُغُ الْحُلَّةُ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ وَأَكْثَرَ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ الْحُلَّةُ الَّتِي كَانُوا يَلْبَسُونَهَا ثَوْبَانِ إِزَارٌ وَرِدَاءٌ إِلَّا أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِنْ قَزٍّ
