Allah, the Exalted, would awaken the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at night. When the dawn came, he would his finish daily round of recital. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1316)   

البيهقي:٤٦٥٨أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا حَفْصٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيُوقِظُهُ اللهُ ﷻ بِاللَّيْلِ فَمَا يَجِيءُ السَّحَرُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ جُزْئِهِ
