[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , "Between every call to prayer, there is a prayer. Between every call to prayer, there is a prayer." Then, in the third call, he said, "Whoever wishes to do so." Ibn Buraydah used to pray two units of prayer before Maghrib. Abu Amr al-Adib narrated to us, who informed us Abu Bakr al-Ismaili, who informed us al-Qasim ibn Zakariya, who informed us Abu Kurayb, who informed us Ibn Mubarak and Abu Usamah, from Kahmas, who mentioned this hadith and said, "Between every call to prayer, there are three units of prayer." He said in the third call, "Whoever wishes to do so." Ibn Buraydah used to pray two units of prayer before Maghrib, just like in our narration.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَ كُلِّ أَذَانَيْنِ صَلَاةٌ بَيْنَ كُلِّ أَذَانَيْنِ صَلَاةٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ لِمَنْ شَاءَ قَالَ فَكَانَ ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ 4494 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أنبأ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا أنبأ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ أنبأ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ كَهْمَسٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ بَيْنَ كُلِّ أَذَانَيْنِ ثَلَاثَةً قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ لِمَنْ شَاءَ قَالَ وَكَانَ ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ كَذَا فِي رِوَايَتِنَا
