[Machine] Umar performed the Fajr prayer in Mecca, then performed Tawaf seven times. After that, he left while intending to go to Medina. When he reached Dhul Hulaifa, the sun had risen, so he performed two units of prayer and continued on.  

البيهقي:٤٤٢٥أنبأ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُرْفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْمَدَائِنِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْقَارِيِّ قَالَ

صَلَّى عُمَرُ ؓ الصُّبْحَ بِمَكَّةَ ثُمَّ طَافَ سَبْعًا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِذِي طُوًى وَطَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَذَلِكَ
