[Machine] Narrated from Qutaibah with this wording, "And Ata' used to say that there is no harm in dividing the ablution into parts," and this is the saying of Al-Hasan and Al-Nakha'i, and the most correct saying of Al-Shafi'i.  

البيهقي:٣٩٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَنٍ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا أَبُو سَهْلٍ بِشْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بِشْرٍ ثنا دَاودُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ نا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ نا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ تَوَضَّأَ فِي السُّوقِ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ وَوَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ بَعْدَ مَا جَفَّ وُضُوءُهُ وَصَلَّى وَهَذَا صَحِيحٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَمَشْهُورٌ

عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ وَكَانَ عَطَاءٌ لَا يَرَى بِتَفْرِيقِ الْوُضُوءِ بَأْسًا وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الْحَسَنِ وَالنَّخَعِيِّ وَأَصَحُّ قُولَيِ الشَّافِعِيِّ ؓ
