[Machine] "So he took, drank, while standing, then performed a light ablution, wiped over his sandals, then said, 'This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do, as long as it was not new or different in meaning.'"  

البيهقي:٣٥٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ نا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ نا أَبِي نا ابْنُ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّهُ دَعَا بِكُوزٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيْنَ هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يَكْرَهُونَ الشُّرْبَ قَائِمًا؟ قَالَ

فَأَخَذَ وَشَرِبَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا خَفِيفًا وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ وَبِمَعْنَاهُ
