[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to Anas, "Keep your gaze where you prostrate, and it was narrated from Mujahid and Qatadah that they disliked closing the eyes during prayer, and a Mursal Hadith was narrated about it, but it is not proven."  

البيهقي:٣٥٤٥أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحِنَّائِيُّ ثنا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا عَلِيلَةُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ ثنا عَنْطُوَانَةُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا أَنَسُ اجْعَلْ بَصَرَكَ حَيْثُ تَسْجُدُ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَقَتَادَةَ أَنَّهُمَا كَانَ يَكْرَهَانِ تَغْمِيضَ الْعَيْنَيْنِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَرُوِيَ فِيهِ حَدِيثٌ مُسْنَدٌ وَلَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ
