bayhaqi:339Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ And Muḥammad b. Mūsá b. al-Faḍl > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Yaḥyá b. Abū Ṭālib > ʿAbd al-Wahhāb b. ʿAṭāʾ > Ḥumayd > Mūsá b. Anas > Khaṭab al-Ḥajjāj b. Yūsuf al-Nās

[Machine] "Wash your faces, your hands, and your feet. Then wash their fronts, their backs, and the skin between their toes. For indeed, this is closer to Paradise." Anas said: "Allah spoke the truth and Al-Hajjaj (a person) lied." So wipe your heads and your feet up to the ankles." He said: "He recited it by heart." So Anas bin Malik did not deny the recitation; he denied the washing before it. For indeed, we have been narrated from Anas bin Malik from the Prophet ﷺ that it is obligatory to wash."
