[Machine] That the ignorant ones like you may see me. Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray like this.  

البيهقي:٣٢٧٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَوَالِي عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُلْتَحِفًا بِهِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قُلْنَا يَا أَبَا عَبْدَ اللهِ أَتُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُلْتَحِفًا بِهِ وَهَذَا رِدَاؤُكَ مَوْضُوعٌ؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ أَحْبَبْتُ

أَنْ يَرَانِي الْجَاهِلُ أَمْثَالُكُمْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي هَكَذَا  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الْمَوَالِي
