[Machine] I heard Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was passing by us and people were performing ablution from the purification (water source), saying, "Perform ablution thoroughly, for surely the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Woe to the heels (from entering) the Fire!' That is the wording of the hadith of Adam."

البيهقي:٣٢٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَسَدِيُّ بِهَمْدَانَ أنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَكَانَ يَمُرُّ بِنَا وَالنَّاسُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ مِنَ الْمَطْهَرَةِ فَيَقُولُ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ فَإِنَّ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ قَالَ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ آدَمَ

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ آدَمَ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ
