[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who said, "Indeed, the ears are part of the head." This was narrated with weak chains of transmission, and we have mentioned them in the discussions.  

البيهقي:٣١١وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ أنا جَدِّي أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ يَأْخُذُ الْمَاءَ بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ لِأُذُنَيْهِ وَأَمَّا مَا رُوِيَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ فَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ بِأَسَانِيدَ ضِعَافٍ ذَكَرْنَاهَا فِي الْخِلَافِ
