bayhaqi:299Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥasan > Ḥājib b. Aḥmad > Muḥammad b. Ḥammād > Sufyān > ʿAmr b. Yaḥyá from his father > ʿAbdullāh b. Zayd

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution, then washed his face three times, his hands twice, wiped his head twice, and washed his feet twice. Abu Abdur Rahman Al-Nasai narrated this in the book of Sunan from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyaynah. This is the way to wipe the head twice, but Malik, Wahayb, Sulaiman bin Bilal, Khalid Al-Wasiti, and others contradicted him and reported that Amr bin Yahya said he wiped his head once, but he said that he approached and turned his head.
