[Machine] Allah revealed this verse, "And when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy." [Al-A'raf 204] It was narrated by Sa'id bin Mansur that people used to speak during prayer. 'Awn added to the narration, and Al-Qassas revealed it in his stories.
أَنْزَلَ اللهُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنْصِتُوا قَالَ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَرَوَاهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ} [الأعراف 204] عَنْ عَوْنٍ وَزَادَ فِيهِ فَأَنْزَلَهَا الْقُصَّاصُ فِي الْقَصَصِ
