[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was commanded to prostrate from seven parts of his body: his hands, knees, fingertips, forehead. He was forbidden to wipe his hair and clothes. Sufyan said, and Ibn Tawus added, that he placed his hand on his forehead, then commanded it to be placed on his nose until it reached the tip of his nose. My father used to count this as one.  

البيهقي:٢٦٤٨أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

أُمِرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ مِنْهُ عَلَى سَبْعَةٍ يَدَيْهِ وَرُكْبَتَيْهِ وَأَطْرَافِ أَصَابِعِهِ وَجَبْهَتِهِ وَنُهِيَ أَنْ يَكْفِتَ مِنْهُ الشَّعْرَ وَالثِّيَابَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَزَادَ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَّ بِهَا عَلَى أَنْفِهِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ بِهَا طَرَفَ أَنْفِهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ أَبِي يَعُدُّ هَذَا وَاحِدًا
