[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , when he entered prayer, he would raise his hands and say the takbeer, then he would wrap himself in his garment. He would place his right hand over his left hand. When he intended to bow, he would say: "Like this with his garment" and he would bring out his hands, then he would raise them and say the takbeer. When he intended to prostrate, his knees would touch the ground before his hands, and when he prostrated, he would place his forehead between his hands and his arms would be away from his sides. Hammam reported it from Shu'ayb, from 'Asim, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Similar to this (was narrated by) Hammam". And in the narration of one of them, Hammam said: "And the most knowledgeable person regarding this hadith is that it is from the hadith of Muhammad ibn Juhadah. So when he stood up, he would stand on his knees and lean on his thighs, and likewise...

When he prostrated, his knees touched the ground before his palms touched it; when he prostrated himself, he placed his forehead on the ground between his palms, and kept his armpits away from his sides. Hajjaj reported from Hammam and Shaqiq narrated a similar tradition to us from ‘Asim b. Kulaib on the authority of his father from the Prophet ﷺ. And another version narrated by one of them has-and I think in all probability that this version has been narrated by Muhammad b. Juhadah-when he got up (after prostration), he got up with his knees and gave his weight on his thighs.

[Machine] It is narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) used to raise his hands and say the takbeer when he entered the prayer. Then he would cover himself with his garment and place his right hand over his left. When he intended to bow, he would say "like this with his garment" and he would take out his hands, then raise them and say the takbeer, and then he would bow. When he intended to prostrate, his knees would touch the ground before his palms. And when he prostrated, he would place his forehead between his palms and keep his elbows away from his sides. Hammam said, "The most knowledgeable among us is that in the narration of Muhammad ibn Juhaadah, when he stood up, he would stand on his knees and rely on his thighs."
