[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , when he entered prayer, he would raise his hands and say the takbeer, then he would wrap himself in his garment. He would place his right hand over his left hand. When he intended to bow, he would say: "Like this with his garment" and he would bring out his hands, then he would raise them and say the takbeer. When he intended to prostrate, his knees would touch the ground before his hands, and when he prostrated, he would place his forehead between his hands and his arms would be away from his sides. Hammam reported it from Shu'ayb, from 'Asim, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Similar to this (was narrated by) Hammam". عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ الْتَحَفَ بِثَوْبِهِ وَوَضَعَ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَالَ هَكَذَا بِثَوْبِهِ وَأَخْرَجَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَهُمَا وَكَبَّرَ فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ وَقَعَتْ رُكْبَتَاهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقَعَا كَفَّاهُ فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ بَيْنَ كَفَّيْهِ وَجَافَى عَنْ إِبِطَيْهِ وَقَالَ هَمَّامٌ وَثنا شَقِيقٌ ثنا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مِثْلَ هَذَا قَالَ وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَحَدِهِمَا قَالَ هَمَّامٌ وَأَكْبَرُ عِلْمِي أَنَّهُ فِي حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ فَإِذَا نَهَضَ نَهَضَ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَاعْتَمَدَ عَلَى فَخِذَيْهِ وَكَذَلِكَ
