[Machine] Indeed, it is from the Sunnah (tradition of the Prophet) during prayer to place one hand on top of the other beneath the navel, just as mentioned.

إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَضْعُ الْكَفِّ عَلَى الْكَفِّ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَرَوَاهُ حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
