[Machine] "The Prophet, ﷺ , came to a narrow passage with his companions, and the sky said: 'Yahya (John), and I think it said: 'Or the boat.' It said: 'Above them is the enemy, and the boat is below them.' The prayer was about to approach, so the Prophet ordered the Muadhin to call the Adhan, and he stood up. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , advanced on his mount and prayed with them, making the prostration lower than the bowing or his prostration lower than his bowing. In the narration of Abu Abdullah, Yahya said: 'And the enemy is above them, and the boat is below them.' In its chain of narration, there is weakness, and it has not been established from the reliability of some of its narrators that would require accepting his report. It is possible that this was due to extreme fear."  

البيهقي:٢٢٢٤وَأَمَّا الْحَدِيثُ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنبأ عُمَرُ بْنُ الرَّمَّاحِ (ح) وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ بِهَا أنبأ أَبُو سَهْلٍ بِشْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بِشْرٍ الْإِسْفَرَايِينِيُّ بِهَا ثنا أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا ابْنُ الرَّمَّاحِ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ انْتَهَى إِلَى مَضِيقٍ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ وَالسَّمَاءُ قَالَ يَحْيَى وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ أَوِ الْبِلَّةُ قَالَ مِنْ فَوْقَهِمْ وَالْبِلَّةُ مِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُمْ وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَأَمَرَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَأَقَامَ فَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ يُومِي إِيمَاءً يَجْعَلُ السُّجُودَ أَخْفَضَ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ أَوْ سُجُودَهُ أَخْفَضَ مِنْ رُكُوعِهِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ وَالْعَدُوُّ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَالْبِلَّةُ مِنْ أَسْفَلَ وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ ضَعْفٌ وَلَمْ يَثْبُتْ مِنْ عَدَالَةِ بَعْضِ رُوَاتِهِ مَا يُوجِبُ قَبُولَ خَبَرِهِ وَيُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ فِي شِدَّةِ الْخَوْفِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions came to a narrow place, while he was on his ride, with the sky above them and the land below them. Then the prayer time came, so he ordered the caller to prayer to call the adhan and iqamah. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went forward on his ride and prayed with them by making gestures. He made the prostration position lower than the bowing position or made his prostration lower than his bowing.
