[Machine] In the offspring of the executed, when the leader dies, we only see them as free people. Ataa said, the offspring of the executed are slaves unless they are owned. Abu al-Walid said, our companions said that this is Zaid bin Thabit who made her offspring an inheritance and Jabir confirmed this and Ataa and Jabir bin Zaid, the father of Shaathaa, declared it publicly.  

البيهقي:٢١٥٩٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا حِبَّانُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

فِي أَوْلَادِ الْمُدَبَّرَةِ إِذَا مَاتَ السَّيِّدُ فَلَا نَرَاهُمْ إِلَّا أَحْرَارًا قَالَ وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ أَوْلَادُ الْمُدَبَّرَةِ عَبِيدٌ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ حُبْلَى يَوْمَ دُبِّرَتْ قَالَ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُنَا فَهَذَا زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ جَعَلَ وَلَدَهَا مِيرَاثًا وَعَلَّقَ الْقَوْلَ فِيهِ جَابِرٌ وَصَرَّحَ بِذَلِكَ عَطَاءٌ وَجَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ
