[Machine] That a man had freed a slave whom he did not have any wealth except him, so the Prophet ﷺ returned him to slavery and then sold him and gave him its price. These three narrations, when combined, constitute the complete hadith.  

البيهقي:٢١٥٦٠وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمَدَنِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ عَبْدًا لَهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ فَرَدَّهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي الرِّقِّ ثُمَّ بَاعَهُ وَأَعْطَاهُ ثَمَنَهُ هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَاتُ الثَّلَاثَةُ بِمَجْمُوعِهِنَّ يُؤَدِّينَ تَمَامَ الْحَدِيثِ
