[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to, when he surrounded a fortress, and one of the slaves came to him, he would free him, and when his master embraced Islam, he returned his allegiance to him. This is a disconnected narration and Ibn Lahiyah reported it and Allah knows best. It was also narrated by Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Yasir from Abdullah ibn al-Makannaf al-Thaqafi from the Prophet ﷺ regarding those who came out to him from the slaves of the people of Ta'if. Then the people of Ta'if sent a delegation and they embraced Islam, and they said, "O Messenger of Allah, return our slaves to us." He said, "No, they are the liberated ones of Allah, and he returned allegiance to every man and his slave." This is also a disconnected chain of narration, and it has already been mentioned in the book of Jizyah.
