[Machine] That Rafa'ah, the father of Al-Sa'ib, was a slave to Ghaylan. He fled to the Prophet ﷺ and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted him freedom. Then, Ghaylan embraced Islam, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned his loyalty to Ghaylan.  

البيهقي:٢١٥٢٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنبأ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّ رَافِعًا أَبَا السَّائِبِ كَانَ عَبْدًا لِغَيْلَانَ فَرَّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَعْتَقَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ أَسْلَمَ غَيْلَانُ فَرَدَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَاءَهُ إِلَى غَيْلَانَ
