[Machine] And Abu Hazim informed us that Abu Al-Fadl informed us that Ahmad informed us that Saeed narrated to us from Hushaym who narrated from Ashath ibn Sawar who heard from Awn ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah who heard from his father that he had asked a man to swear an oath with clear evidence, but he refused to swear the oath. So Abdullah ibn Utbah said to him, "I will not rule in your favor with regard to money for which you refuse to take an oath."

وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ أنبأ سَعِيدٌ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أنبأ أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ اسْتَحْلَفَ رَجُلًا مَعَ بَيِّنَةٍ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَحْلِفَ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ لَا أَقْضِي لَكَ بِمَالٍ لَا تَحْلِفُ عَلَيْهِ
