bayhaqi:210Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. al-Ḥasan al-Qāḍī > Ibrāhīm b. al-Ḥusayn > Ādam b. Abū Iyās > Shuʿbah > al-Nuʿmān / Ibn Sālim > Ibn ʿAmr b. Aws from his grandfather Aws b. Abū Aws

[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution, then he spread his hands three times. Shu`bah said, "I asked Nu`man, 'What does it mean to spread one's hands?' He replied, 'It means washing the palms three times.' And Adam ibn Abi Iyas has also narrated it, but there is disagreement regarding Shu`bah's narration."
