bayhaqi:20659 – Abū Naṣr b. Qatādah > Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad b. Saʿd al-Ḥāfiẓ > Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm al-Būshanjī > Isḥāq b. Mūsá al-Anṣārī > Ḥusayn b. Zayd > Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad from his father from his grandfather > ʿAlī b. Abū Ṭālib > Rasūl Allāh

[Machine] Narrated by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he made a decision with the testimony of the one witness, Ali ibn Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, the grandfather of Ja'far ibn Muhammad. Even if Ali is not present, he is closer to transmit from Muhammad ibn Ali from Ali. And  

البيهقي:٢٠٦٥٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُسَيْنَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ الْوَاحِدِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ جَدُّ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ عَلِيًّا ؓ فَهُوَ أَقْرَبُ مِنَ الِاتِّصَالِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ وَقَدْ  

رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْبَاقِرِ عَلَى الْإِرْسَالِ
