[Machine] She used to order the rubbing of the head for the sick and grieving over the deceased, and she would say: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Rubbing the head soothes the heart of the sick person and removes some of the grief.'"  

البيهقي:١٩٥٧٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الدُّورِيُّ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَنَّهَا

كَانَتْ تَأْمُرُ بِالتَّلْبِينَةِ لِلْمَرِيضِ وَالْمَحْزُونِ عَلَى الْهَالِكِ وَتَقُولُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ التَّلْبِينَةُ تُجِمُّ فُؤَادَ الْمَرِيضِ وَتُذْهِبُ بَعْضَ الْحُزْنِ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ حَبَّانِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ هَكَذَا وَأَخْرَجَاهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ عَقِيلٍ وَقَدْ مَضَى فِي كِتَابِ الْجَنَائِزِ

Aisha used to recommend at-Talbina for the sick and for such a person as grieved over a dead person. She used to say, "I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'at-Talbina gives rest to the heart of the patient and makes it active and relieves some of his sorrow and grief.'"
