[Machine] Then he called for the lamp and called for Ali, while he was complaining about his eyes. He wiped them, and then the lamp was brought to him, and it was opened for him. I heard Abdullah bin Buraida saying: "My father narrated to me that he was a companion of Marhab."  

البيهقي:١٨٣٤٨وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أنبأ زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْعُكْلِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ خَيْبَرَ فَذَكَرَ بَعْضَ الْقِصَّةِ قَالَ

ثُمَّ دَعَا بِاللِّوَاءِ فَدَعَا عَلِيًّا ؓ وَهُوَ يَشْتَكِي عَيْنَيْهِ فَمَسَحَهُمَا ثُمَّ دَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ اللِّوَاءَ فَفُتِحَ لَهُ فَسَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ بُرَيْدَةَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ كَانَ صَاحِبَ مَرْحَبٍ
