[Machine] I participated in the conquest of Khaybar with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ while I was a slave. He did not strike me with an arrow, but he gave me a sword. I imitated him by dragging the sole of his shoe on the ground, and he instructed me to take from the spoils of war.

البيهقي:١٧٨٥٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِي أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ وَبِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ثنا عُمَيْرٌ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ ؓ قَالَ

غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَيْبَرَ وَأَنَا عَبْدٌ مَمْلُوكٌ فَلَمْ يَضْرِبْ لِي بِسَهْمٍ وَأَعْطَانِي سَيْفًا فَقُلِّدْتُهُ أَجُرُّ بِنَعْلِهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَأَمَرَ لِي مِنْ خُرْثِيِّ الْمَتَاعِ

" عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى لأَبِى اللَّحْمِ قَالَ: شهِدتُ خَيْبَرَ وَأَنَا عَبْدٌ مَمْلُوكٌ، فَلَمَّا فَتَحُوهَا أَعْطانِى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ سَيْفًا فَقَالَ: تَقَلَّدْ هَذَا، وَأَعْطَانِى مِنْ حُرْثِىِّ الْمَتَاعِ وَلَمْ يَضْرِبْ لِى بِسَهْمٍ".
