[Machine] And as if when he claimed his ignorance, he reinforced it, and Allah knows best.  

البيهقي:١٧٠٨٣ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ رُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ وَقَعَ عَلَى جَارِيَةِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَجَلَدَهُ مِائَةً وَلَمْ يَرْجُمْهُ هَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ

وَكَأَنَّهُ إِنْ صَحَّ ادَّعَى جَهَالَةً فَعَزَّرَهُ وَلَمْ يَرْجُمْهُ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
