[Machine] Umar said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stoned, Abu Bakr stoned, and I stoned. But I do not want to increase anything in the Book of Allah. If it were not for the fact that I fear that people will come and not find it, so they will not believe it."
قَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَرَجَمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَرَجَمْتُ وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ لَكَتَبْتُهُ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَقْوَامٌ فَلَا يَجِدُونَهُ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stoned, Abu Bakr stoned, and I stoned. If I didn't dislike that I add to the Book of Allah. I would have written it in the Mushaf, for I fear that there will come a people and they will not find it in the Book of Allah, so they will disbelieve in it."
رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَرَجَمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَرَجَمْتُ وَلَوْلاَ أَنِّي أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ لَكَتَبْتُهُ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ فَإِنِّي قَدْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ تَجِيءَ أَقْوَامٌ فَلاَ يَجِدُونَهُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَيَكْفُرُونَ بِهِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ
"عَنْ سعيد بن المسيب عن عمر قال: رَجَمَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ ورجم أبو بكرٍ ورجمتُ، ولولا أنِّى أكره أن أزيد في كتابِ الله لكتبتُه في المصحفِ، فإنى قد خشيت أن يجئ أقوام فلا يجدونَه في كتاب الله فيكفرُون به".
