The Quranic methodology of reconciliation between two believing groups is most desired by the Ummah

bayhaqi:16707Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. al-Muʾammal b. al-Ḥasan b. ʿĪsá > al-Faḍl b. Muḥammad al-Shaʿrānī > Ismāʿīl b. Abū Ūways from my father > Muḥammad b. Abū Bakr b. Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. Ḥazm from his father > ʿAmrah b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > ʿĀʾishah

I have not seen anything more desired/valued by this Ummah that is like the āyah: "And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah." (Ḥujurāt 49:9)

quran:49:9

If two groups of the believers fight, you [believers] should try to reconcile them; if one of them is [clearly] oppressing the other, fight the oppressors until they submit to God’s command, then make a just and even-handed reconciliation between the two of them: God loves those who are even-handed.
