[Machine] That Um Habiba bint Jahsh sought permission for ʼistihaada (abnormal bleeding outside the menstrual period), so she asked the Prophet ﷺ, and he commanded her to wait for the days that her menstrual cycles were known and then perform ghusl (ritual bath) or offer salah (prayer). Then, if she sees anything after that, she should perform wudhu (ablution), seek istikhaarah (divine guidance), perform ghusl, and pray. This is also a well-established hadith, closer to the hadith of Aisha regarding ghusl. The hadith of Aisha from a definitive source is more likely to be authentic. We have also narrated from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman that she performed only one ghusl and made wudhu, which is not contradictory to what the Prophet ﷺ narrated from her.
