[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wounds are measured, then consulted for a year, and then the decision is made based on what they have reached."  

البيهقي:١٦١١٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ أنبأ أَبُو يَعْلَى ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تُقَاسُ الْجِرَاحَاتُ ثُمَّ يُسْتَأْنَى بِهَا سَنَةً ثُمَّ يُقْضَى فِيهَا بِقَدْرِ مَا انْتَهَتْ إِلَيْهِ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ جَمَاعَةٌ مِنَ الضُّعَفَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ وَمِنْ وَجْهَيْنِ آخَرَيْنِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَلَمْ يَصِحَّ شَيْءٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
