[Machine] Abu Ubaid's saying is: "Be patient with the patient." This means to withhold the one who has been restrained.  

البيهقي:١٦٠٣١وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ اقْتُلُوا الْقَاتِلَ وَاصْبِرُوا الصَّابِرَ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْكَارِزِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ

أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ قَوْلُهُ اصْبِرُوا الصَّابِرَ يَعْنِي احْبِسُوا الَّذِي حَبَسَهُ
