So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote them a letter saying, "This is a letter from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, to Malik, Qais, and Ubaid, from the Banu Khushkhash tribe. Indeed, you are safe and protected. Your lives and wealth are not to be taken except by your own consent, and no harm shall come upon you except from your own hands."

[Machine] That his father Malik and his uncles Qais and Ubaid, from the Bani Khashkhash tribe, came to the Prophet ﷺ and complained to him about the aggression of a man from their cousin's Bani Ameed tribe against the people. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote to them, "This is a letter from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , to Malik, Ubaid, and Qais from the Bani Khashkhash tribe. You are secure, Muslims, regarding your lives and wealth. Your property will not be taken by anyone else, nor will you be harmed except by your own hands."
