[Machine] Abdullah said, "By Allah, whoever I wish harm, I will curse him. Surely, Surah An-Nisa Al-Qasira would be revealed after four months and ten days." And Muslim bin Abi Dhuh said, "Ali used to say, 'I am the last of the two [of us] to reach the hereafter.'"
قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَاللهِ مَنْ شَاءَ لَاعَنْتُهُ لَأُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ الْقُصْرَى بَعْدَ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا وَعَنْ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي الضُّحَى قَالَ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ يَقُولُ آخِرَ الْأَجَلَيْنِ
I can invoke the curse of Allah on anyone who wishes: The smaller surat an-Nisa (i.e. Surat at-Talaq) was revealed after the verse regarding the waiting period of four months and ten days had been revealed.
مَنْ شَاءَ لاَعَنْتُهُ لأُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ الْقُصْرَى بَعْدَ الأَرْبَعَةِ الأَشْهُرِ وَعَشْرًا
"By Allah, for those who would like to go through the process of praying for Allah's curse to be upon the one who is wrong, the shorter Surah concerning women[l] was revealed after (the Verses[2] which speak of the waiting period of) four months and ten (days)." [1] (65:40), [2] (2:234)
وَاللَّهِ لَمَنْ شَاءَ لاَعَنَّاهُ لأُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ الْقُصْرَى بَعْدَ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا
"عَنْ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ - أَبى الضُّحَى - عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: مَنْ شَاءَ لَاعَنْتُهُ لاَنَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ النِّسَاء القُصْرَى بَعَد "أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرَا"، وَعَنْ أَبِى الضُّحَى قَالَ: كَانَ يَقُولُ آخِر الأَجلَيْنِ".
