[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we stay in the desert for four or five months, and women, menstruating women, and those in a state of sexual impurity are with us. What do you advise?" He replied, "Stay on the highlands."

البيهقي:١٤٨٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ ثنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَكُونُ فِي الرَّمْلِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ أَوْ خَمْسَةَ أَشْهُرٍ فَتَكُونُ فِينَا النُّفَسَاءُ وَالْحَائِضُ وَالْجُنُبُ فَمَا تَرَى قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالصَّعِيدِ

[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am in the desert for four or five months, and during this time there will be women who are menstruating, women who are in a state of postnatal bleeding, and men who are in a state of major impurity (janabah). What do you advise me to do?" The Prophet replied, "You should perform tayammum (dry ablution) using the earth."

أحمد:٧٧٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَكُونُ فِي الرَّمْلِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ أَوْ خَمْسَةَ أَشْهُرٍ فَيَكُونُ فِينَا النُّفَسَاءُ وَالْحَائِضُ وَالْجُنُبُ فَمَا تَرَى؟ قَالَ عَلَيْكَ بِالتُّرَابِ

"جَاءَ أَعْرَابِى إِلَى النَّبِىِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله! إِنِّى أكُونُ في الرَّمْلِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ أَوْ خَمْسَةً فيكُونُ مِنَّا النُّفَسَاءُ أو الحائضُ أو الجنبُ فَمَا تَرىَ؟ قَالَ: عَلَيْكَ بِالتُّرَابِ".
