[Machine] He informed him that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sharpening a knife with a sheep's shoulder in his hand. Then he was called to prayer, so he threw it and the knife that he was sharpening with, then he stood and prayed without performing ablution.  

البيهقي:١٤٦٢٨ – وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْهَرَوِيُّ نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَكَّانِيُّ نا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَحُزُّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ فِي يَدِهِ فَدُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَأَلْقَاهَا وَالسِّكِّينَ الَّتِي كَانَ يَحْتَزُّ بِهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي الْيَمَانِ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَفِي هَذَا دَلَالَةٌ عَلَى جَوَازِ قَطْعِهِ بِالسِّكِّينِ وَإِنَّ الْخَبَرَ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ إِنْ صَحَّ فَإِنَّمَا أَرَادَ بِهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ إِذَا نَهْسَهُ كَانَ أَطْيَبَ كَالْخَبَرِ الْأَوَّلِ
