[Machine] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ, the guardian of the marriage contract is the husband, and this is not certain. And Ibn Lahia is not a reliable source for this. And Allah knows best.  

البيهقي:١٤٤٥٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ قَالَا ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ غَيْلَانَ ثنا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ هُوَ الزَّوْجُ إِنْ شَاءَ أَتَمَّ لَهَا صَدَاقَهَا وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَ نَافِعُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَطَاوُسٌ وَمُجَاهِدٌ وَالشَّعْبِيُّ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَعَلْقَمَةُ وَالْحَسَنُ هُوَ الْوَلِيُّ وَرُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلِيُّ عَقْدِ النِّكَاحِ الزَّوْجُ وَهَذَا غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ وَابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ غَيْرُ مُحْتَجٍّ بِهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
