[Machine] He is the man who marries the woman and has not given her a dowry, then divorces her before consummating the marriage. So Allah has commanded to provide for her according to his means, whether he is wealthy or in difficulty. If he is wealthy, he should provide for her with a servant or something similar, and if he is in difficulty, then with three pieces of clothing or something similar.  

البيهقي:١٤٤٠٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الطَّرَائِفِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ قَالَ

هُوَ الرَّجُلُ يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةَ وَلَمْ يُسَمِّ لَهَا صَدَاقًا ثُمَّ طَلَّقَهَا مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَنْكِحَهَا فَأَمَرَ اللهُ تَعَالَى أَنْ يُمَتِّعْهَا عَلَى قَدْرِ يُسْرِهِ وَعُسْرِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ مُوسِرًا مَتَّعَهَا بِخَادِمٍ أَوْ نَحْوِ ذَلِكَ وَإِنْ كَانَ مُعْسِرًا فَبِثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ أَوْ نَحْوِ ذَلِكَ
