[Machine] I asked Anas ibn Malik, "Was shaking hands a common practice among the companions of the Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Yes."  

البيهقي:١٣٥٦٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ قُلْتُ أَكَانَتِ الْمُصَافَحَةُ فِي أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ
