[Machine] "Do not divorce me and hold me back, and swear to me whatever you wish, and we will make a fair agreement. Thus was the Sunnah established and the Quran was revealed: 'And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion.' [Surah An-Nisa 128]"  

البيهقي:١٣٤٣٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ نا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ نا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ كَانَتِ ابْنَةُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ عِنْدَ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ فَكَرِهَ مِنْهَا إِمَّا كِبَرًا وَإِمَّا غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَأَرَادَ طَلَاقَهَا فَقَالَتْ

لَا تُطَلِّقْنِي وَأَمْسِكْنِي وَاقْسِمْ لِي مَا شِئْتَ فَاصْطَلَحَا عَلَى صُلْحٍ فَجَرَتِ السُّنَّةُ بِذَلِكَ وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ {وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنْ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا} [النساء 128]

[Machine] It was reported that the Prophet ﷺ divorced her, so she said, "O Messenger of Allah, do not divorce me, hold on to me, and make my day for Aisha." So he did as she requested, and then this verse was revealed: "And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion, there is no sin upon them if they make terms of settlement between them" [Quran 4:128]. He said, "Whatever they agree upon is permissible."

يُطَلِّقَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَا تُطَلِّقْنِي وَأَمْسِكْنِي وَاجْعَلْ يَوْمِي لِعَائِشَةَ فَفَعَلَ فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنْ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا} [النساء 128] قَالَ فَمَا اصْطَلَحَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ جَائِزٌ
