[Machine] Umar Ibn Al-Khattab married Um Kulthum bint Ali and he attended a gathering in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ between the grave and the pulpit for the Muhajireen (Muslims who migrated from Mecca to Medina). He was the only one sitting in that gathering, so they prayed for blessings for him. He said, "I swear by Allah that he did not call me to marry her except that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Every severed cause and lineage on the Day of Judgment, except for what is from my cause and lineage, the narration of Ibn Ishaq is a reliable hadith and it has been narrated from other reliable sources as well."
