[Machine] A Bedouin man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about wiping over the two socks. He replied, "Three days and their nights." He said, "And we have seen that if he were to increase it, he would increase it." And likewise.  

البيهقي:١٣٢١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ فَقَالَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ قَالَ وَرَأَيْنَا أَنَّهُ لَوِ اسْتَزَادَهُ لَزَادَهُ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ وَرَوَاهُ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ فَأَدْخَلَ بَيْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ وَبَيْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ سُوَيْدٍ وَتَرَكَ بَيْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ وَبَيْنَ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيَّ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ وَلَوِ اسْتَزَدْتُهُ لَزَادَنَا
